At Center for Discovery, we are dedicated to providing successful residential treatment for children, adolescents and adult women. For over 18 years, we have been committed to helping our clients along their path to long-term recovery. We have demonstrated a legacy of success and have developed a proprietary treatment model based on experience and research. The focus of our residential treatment programs is the specialized and personalized treatment we provide for each client. Each of our residential treatment locations focus on treating one of our core programs.

Adult Women Eating Disorders

Our residential treatment programs treat adult women, age 18 and over, who are struggling with an eating disorder. We combine therapeutic treatment, addressing the underlying issues and eating disorder behavior, with nutritional education and practical kitchen skills that support long-term recovery. We utilize other specialized therapies such as equine assisted therapy, expressive arts and movement therapy.
Adolescent Eating Disorders

Our adolescent eating disorder programs treat children and adolescents, ages 10 to 18, who are struggling with an eating disorder as a primary diagnosis. We provide therapeutic treatment that addresses the eating disorder behavior as well as the underlying emotional issues that contributed to the development of the eating disorder. We educate on nutrition and practical kitchen and food skills to help support recovery.
Adolescent Substance Abuse

Our specialized program provides residential treatment for children and adolescents, ages 10 to 19, who are struggling with alcohol abuse, prescription drug abuse, methamphetamine or heroin addiction or other substance abuse related issues. Treatment is personalized to meet the needs of each individual resident. We have expertise in identifying and addressing the substance abuse cycle and the underlying issues for our clients.
Adolescent Resilience

Our adolescent resilience program is an intensive residential treatment program for children and adolescents, ages 11 to 18, dealing with issues related to depression, anxiety, self-harming behavior, bipolar disorder, attachment or adoption. We empower our clients to self-reflect, gain deeper insight, accept difficult truths when necessary and identify areas for greater overall functioning. Our goal is to help our clients become healthier individuals and functioning members of their family systems.

"The infinite wonders of the internet have no better illustration than this remarkable website. This terrific tool can allow parents to benefit directly and immediately from decades of research and experience with child rearing techniques and principles that can make family life better - more loving and happier. Parents will find that the website provides more information than the combined wisdom of dozens of good books on the subject at a very modest cost and in a more accessible and enjoyable format. Every conscientious parent and parent educator/trainer/family therapist would benefit from using this site, often."
